After spending years acting, directing and casting my own projects, and teaching actors, I started getting asked to do casting for other filmmakers. There is nothing I love more than making sure actors are comfortable and confident in the audition room so that they can showcase their absolute best selves.

How does it work?
I typically take care of every part of the process- I draft the casting call, review all the submissions, and select who to bring in and what they'll do (with your input, of course), being the point person of communication throughout the entire casting cycle. Your level of involvement is totally up to you. I've worked with directors who are very hands-off and prefer that I do it all, including running in-person auditions and giving the auditioners direction in the room. I've also worked with directors who prefer that I simply screen which actors to bring in, ensuring that they are auditioning from the best possible pool for their project.

Rates vary depending on the scope of the project and are based on the projected number of hours spent reviewing submissions and running auditions (if applicable). While I can roll with casting in any region, I'm most familiar with the acting markets in the NYC/tri-state area & Boston/New England area.
